Mounted in front, scarifiers break up the compacted, encrusted material on the track and the shoulders.

The folding conveyor option allows for safer transportation by road.

The pivoting coveyor allows for waste deposit in front or to either side of the machine.

The KYC 550 can be conveniently transported by truck.

Machine Description

The KYC550 Yard Cleaner is designed to clear tracks, shoulders, and the space between tracks on multi-track lines, including points and crossings. The KYC550 can sweep and load up to 2.66 cubic yards of waste material per minute. With a single pass, it removes all unwanted material, leaving the track and fasteners completely clean. The machine can clear the full width of the ties and shoulders, covering a total path width of just under 15 feet.
